This is a Mexican Water Process decaf, roasted medium-dark, and it's the best blended decaf I've ever had. The beans are are a carefully chosen blend with a smooth body, and a chocolatey flavour with a hint of citrus and almond. The Mexican Water decaffeination process does an incredible job of removing caffeine while retaining flavour.
Organic beans from the Huehuetenango region. Sun dried and hand washed. Roasted just slightly darker than medium to bring out notes of caramel and a subtle chocolatey richness.
Roasted a little darker than the original Huehue, this has a bolder taste and smoother mouth feel, but presents a more traditional coffee taste with diminished subtle tasting notes.
Sold at the last couple of DMS Farm market days, this had a bright taste and showcased the bean's citrus and berry highlights very well. However, customer feedback suggested that a darker roast would be preferred.
A beautiful silky mouth feel and with overtones of sweet chocolate with a hint of berry. This is a high-altitude bean, with a mix of drying processes.
Was sold at the DMS market through most of the summer.
Clear and bright with a remarkably smooth mouth feel. Hints of berry, wine, and caramel. Evokes crisp, still, fall air.
This is an organic, fully-washed, special-sorted bean, produced by a women's co-operative in Peru.
